A whole new DC Universe begins of adventure and hope, with a cast of superheroes in this brave new world. In many ways this film did do that just as Black Adam (2021) did but exponentially better. From the daily planet to the Justice Gang to Clark Kent and Lois Lane, as well as Lex Luthor’s menace. It was fun, I also enjoyed Krypto very much as well. Despite all its flaws such as being too short or perhaps the goons not being so well characterized, it really would’ve been better if it was longer or less stuffed though.

James Gunn truly created something special that feels like you picked up a random (really good) comic book, with some special writing, visuals, characters, and an all-star cast playing said characters. I’m looking forward to seeing more of them in this new DCU.
